Rules for the Blog

Welcome to our new blog.

I was working on some schoolwork and doing lots of reading about safety and security on the internet, and I realized that I hadn't been as secure as I could have. I thought about just making the blog private, but I kind of like people who I haven't talked to in years finding me!! I also didn't want to go back and edit everything. I do have the other blog still around, it's just hidden. I can't delete my journaling from all that time!!

So, rules for the blog!

1) No location names of where we live, etc.
2) No full names of the kiddies - they will henceforth be known as M & D
3) No last names of our family
4) Feel free to link to us, we just ask that you note the above information when leaving comments.

Events coming soon!!!

I think these are all great protective measures but unfortunately I don't think you are truly safe unless it is set to private. If you don't have too many people linked to you, you can control it better but there are bound to be slip ups from someone along the way. I have so many people linked to me that are not as careful that say where they live and that they saw me at the park the other day, now someone can figure out where I live. I go back and forth on setting it to be private. Bottom line is that all of our information (loans, addresses, credit) is too readily accesible to people. All we can do is do our best to protect our family. Sorry for the long comment. =) I do like you new addy. It took me a second (I am exhausted) but it is cute. Did you get a fun package from us today?

Yeah, I know it's easy to find out there. I guess it's lucky I don't have any friends here??? lol

And if someone wants the info bad enough, they'll find it. I just don't need to make it easy for them!
